This model of the Toshiba mini NB305 (NB305-N410BL) has a distinctively styled cover in royal blue, which is accented by a textured finish with a Matrix pattern. The 250 GB hard disk drive is protected using an integrated 3D impact sensor which detects freefalls, shocks and vibrations. The Toshiba Mini also features a USB Sleep-and-Charge port, which allows external USB devices such as mobile phones and personal media players to charge from the netbook even when it is turned off.
It comes pre-installed with the Microsoft Windows 7 Starter operating system, which combines the latest in reliability and responsiveness with the familiarity and compatibility of Windows. Took a little to get used to and circumvent Windows 7 starter quirks, but the computer is a great little machine with tons more memory than the Acer I had to struggle with before (and that finally died on me just as the guarantee expired). It pays to spend a little more and get a much better product.It also has loads more battery hours. Its fast, attractive, perfect for travel, surfing the net, watching downloaded movies. And Amazon rocks as always!!!

Great product...make sure you upgrade to 2 GB memory..it was very slow when I first got it with the 1 GB..it works sooo much faster with 2 GB. Also, you will need a external cd/dvd drive to load software and a wireless mouse is nice.
It is very easy to exchange the 2GB for the 1GB..one screw. I loaded both Brother and HP wireless printers very easily..downloaded software from the internet.
I have 3 desktops and another laptop..but love this notebook the best..you will enjoy!!

This computer is just what I expected it would be. I like the large keys on a raised keyboard. That is a feature which seems to be unique with this Toshiba product. The smaller screen was easy for me to adapt to. For a small computer, this netbook is easy for me to take on the road. I like the fact that it is light weight.
The one feature that is not so good is that the scrolling feature is jerky.

I really can't comment much on the netbook. It's my first so I have nothing to compare it to, but also have no complaints. It came as described.
However,I was impressed with the promptness of delivery. The computer was shipped securely and without hassle. I was going back and forth between two different dealers with comparable prices. Then I looked them up on the BBB website which influenced my decision to order through Beach Camera. I'm glad I did.
